Germ-Fighting DIY Foaming Hand Soap
I love our hand soap, I really do! Yes, that sounds weird but I love it because I know my family is actually cleaning off all the germs from wherever those nasty hands were before they got home! Hand washing is soooo important in keeping us healthy! My kids know that as soon as they get home from school, they must wash their hands. The thing is, this DIY foaming hand soap makes it fun for them so they LOVE washing their hands! They really do and half the time I don’t even need to remind them! I usually need to tell them they’ve washed enough and to get out of the bathroom and come do your homework instead! HA! So enough of my babbling, you want the recipe, right? Here it is….

Recipe for Germ-fighting DIY Foaming Hand Soap
You will need one of those empty soap dispensers. I saved a bunch from when I bought them filled at the store and just rinsed them out. You can also purchase them here on Amazon or click the photo below for more information.
~ 1 empty soap dispenser
~ 2 Tablespoons of Dr. Bronner’s Castile soap
~ 1 teaspoon of coconut oil (this helps to soften hands)
~ 8-10 drops of Thieves essential oil
And that’s it! Sooooo easy and then best part is this soap really does a great job at germ-fighting! This trend of antibacterial sanitizer isn’t going to do the trick, we need good old fashioned soap and water! I love love love Dr. Bronner’s soap! Best soap you can get and you save tons of money because one bottle of Dr. Bronner’s soap can last you so long! There are so many other things you can do and clean with this all natural soap! If you don’t have Thieves on hand, you can always add lemon, orange, lavender, peppermint, or purification oil! All of these will help fight germs and they also smell great as well! If you don’t know about Thieves essential oil, it is a staple in our home and one of the best oils you can buy! Thieves Essential oil is a blend of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary essential oils. These oils mixed together can help support a healthy immune system, clean and refresh your home, and also make it smell wonderful!
